Am I the right one to shoot your wedding? You decide. If my photos and style speak to you, we could be a great fit.

As a photojournalist, during my entire 35+ year career I have over 15,000 newspaper and magazine assignments under my belt, with my work published by everyone from National Geographic, to TIME, People, Parade, Sports Illustrated, The New York Times, Harvard, Stanford and a bunch of colleges and universities coast to coast. This experience working for major publications and institutions is the perfect complement to wedding photojournalism. I understand that there are no “do-overs” and that every moment, every opportunity, and every shot matters.

Is there a difference between a wedding photographer and a wedding photojournalist?

There is! Unlike a traditional wedding photographer, a wedding photojournalist’s job is to take pictures that tell a story. So a wedding photojournalist has a bias toward storytelling photos. That's a great thing because in a wedding, story matters or more accurately, story is everything ! A wedding is at the top in terms of the most meaningful rituals in our society. Telling the story of this special, fun and solemn day is the mission. Capturing the magic, spirit, heart and ethos unique to each wedding is the goal and the fun!

What does this all mean? For me, it means being fully engaged in your wedding to really understand your story. This is why it’s all about heart. If you go with me, my promise to you is to put my full heart into it to deliver the best photojournalistic results.
